Commuter card terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to commuter cards for travel with Vy Bus4You and Vy express.
10-trip card
There are two different versions of our 10-trip cards available to buy: ‘10-trips All Days’ and ‘10-trips Budget’. The ‘10-trips All Days’ card is valid for travel Monday-Sunday. The ‘10-trips Budget’ card is valid for travel Monday-Thursday and on Saturdays.
10-trip cards can only be bought online at vybuss.com and are valid for travel in Economy. If you want to buy a 10-trip card, you must be a Premium Member. Your 10-trip card is personal to you and only you may travel using your 10-trip card.
You have 365 days to activate your 10-trip card. The valid period of travel will be activated when you book your first trip using the card. The 10-trip card will then remain valid for a period of 90 days.
You should book each trip in advance at vybuss.com and you should select the commuter card payment method. You must be logged in as a Premium Member in order to see this option.
Please note that you must be able to prove your entitlement to a concessionary 10-trip card (child/young person/student/senior citizen) if you have purchased one at a discount. For further details about this, please consult our terms and conditions of travel.
10-trip cards are non-refundable. Any remaining trips in a 10-trip card are non-refundable. The validity period of the card cannot be amended.
When booking with a 10-trip card, you may opt to upgrade a trip to Plus, pay for a seat reservation, buy cancellation cover, purchase extra baggage, etc. These upgrades and add-on products are not included in your 10-trip card.
20-trip card
The 20-trip card is valid for travel on all days of the week. 20-trip cards can only be bought online at vybuss.com and are valid for travel in Economy. If you want to buy a 20-trip card, you must be a Premium Member. Your 20-trip card is personal to you and only you may travel using your 20-trip card.
You have 365 days to activate your 20-trip card. The valid period of travel will be activated when you book your first trip using the card. The 20-trip card will then remain valid for a period of 180 days.
