The data controller
Vygruppen is a mobility group with a number of companies supplying various travel services, including rail and coach services. The companies in Vygruppen have a shared group customer register for best administration of customer relationships and coordination of service offerings from group companies. The companies in Vygruppen share responsibility for the processing of the information in the register.
What is a Vy profile?
By creating a Vy profile, you can make your travel history available via the web and in the app, store personal details such as your name, email address, telephone number and use convenient features to add your home and work address, favourite routes, stations and locations and family and friends. The purpose of a Vy profile is to make it more convenient for you as a customer to use Vy’s portals.
We may use this data to contact you with notifications in the event of any situations that may affect your customer relationship with Vygruppen. These may be delays or changes to your journeys and departures, updates to terms and conditions and privacy policies or other similar situations.
Based on your data and travel pattern, we may also create anonymous statistics that will not be linked to your Vy profile.
Legal basis for processing
Our legal basis for processing of your Vy profile is your consent, and we will only process the personal data described above.
Age limit
You must be at least 15 years old to create a Vy profile. The Norwegian Guardianship Act states that an individual must be 15 years of age or older to enter into a legal agreement.
Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your consent by deleting your Vy profile.
