Can I bring my pet on the train?

Yes and in most cases, you need to book a pet‑friendly seat on the train.

Are you traveling with Vy Tåg or Värmlandstrafik? On these trains, there are signs by the entrance doors showing where passengers with pets should board. You must keep your animal on a leash or in a carrier.

For everyone’s comfort, your pet must stay on the floor; smaller animals in carriers may be placed on the seat.
