Can I get a refund for food expenses if my train is delayed?
If you are travelling on a train that is delayed by at least 60 minutes, you can buy food and seek a refund from us. Please save your receipt and attach this to your request for compensation due to a delay.
In the case of delays of 60–119 minutes, we will reimburse food up to the value of SEK 100.
In the case of delays of 120 minutes or more, we will reimburse food up to the value of SEK 200(100 per child) per person.
Remember to attach your ticket and any relevant receipts. You should also include your name, address, and a bank account number (including BIC/Swift and IBAN details if you live outside of Sweden) into which we can pay any refund due.
