I am a student, can I get discount for my train ticket?

Yes, we offer student discounts. As a student, you must be able to present a valid student ID – such as Mecenat, Studentkortet, or an ISIC card (International Student Identity Card) – when tickets are checked on board the train.

If you do not have one of these valid forms of identification or hold a different type of ID not listed above, we cannot guarantee that it will be accepted on board. This applies to both Vy and other transport operators in Sweden.
